Following our latest community giveaway outreach program, we are happy to announce the completion of another worthwhile community building rejuvenation.

Dedicated to serving our local community by renovating properties in need, we received a plethora of laudable local nominations that were closely considered by the SEHBAC team. Rayne Village Hall in Braintree came out on top as the lucky winners, urgently requiring our help to update their front doors.

Opening the door to the community

Rayne Village Hall and Playing Fields are enjoyed by a wide variety of ages from the Rayne community and the surrounding neighbourhoods. Leased from the Rayne Parish Council, the main hall has gone through many changes since its humble beginnings as a small wooden hut, purchased back in 1945. It’s latest refurbishment cost in excess of £60,000, partly subsidized by the Community Fund as well as gaining much-needed support from local groups such as the Parish Council, Rayne Football Club and Rayne Cricket Club.
