A beautiful, yet technically advanced, Ultraroof gable conservatory – Mr & Mrs Goddard
Case Studies

“After we’d gone to our local SEHBAC showroom and had a chat to their team, we didn’t need to look anywhere else after that. The installation team that turned up were punctual, polite, respectful – you didn’t notice they were there half the time.”
“Since the windows and door were installed we have had a lot of the neighbours coming round to comment on how nice they are and enquiring what type of windows they are, particularly the flush sash ones at the front. They are really well fitted and look great, and we couldn’t be happier with the end result.”
Taking our current homes for granted is easily done, which was the situation Mr & Mrs Goddard found themselves in when they moved to a new house. Missing the light and airy feel of their beloved garden room that they had enjoyed for many, many years, they set to work on extending their gorgeous new build chalet bungalow.
Looking for a style to complement their new homes’ glorious countryside views, they also required a glazed living space that they could enjoy all year round. A visit to a local SEHBAC showroom gave them the answer, in the form of the unique Ultraroof tiled roof system. Mrs Goddard explained: “We have downsized into our new build bungalow but realised that we missed having a garden room. After seeing the Ultraroof system and how well the tiles complemented those of our home, we knew it would be the perfect solution for us.”

Breathtaking roof space
As trusted Ultraframe installers, the SEHBAC team supported and advised Mr & Mrs Goddard on which style would complement their home best. Able to be configured into any shape and size, the Ultraroof isn’t restricted by a tie bar either. With this in mind, they chose a gable style to match and enhance the roofline of their new home. Integrating two Ultraroof full height glazing panels created a spectacular roof feature, whilst flooding the space with natural light.
Revealing more about how they chose this particular style, Mrs Goddard said: “Our new extension provides us with a large extra living space that we are delighted with. It is built off our lounge so hugely extends our main living area and allows us to enjoy the views. The height of the gable roof which is tie bar free and the full-length glass panels in the roof makes for a very dramatic and interesting roof space, while also making sure it is always light and bright. It also allowed us to have a huge picture window to frame our view which is delightful. Visitors to our home always love it – as do we!”
