We’ve been exemplified as a case study by the National Apprenticeships Service, a UK organisation formed to encourage the growth of apprenticeships in the UK.
Here’s what they have to say about us:
SEHBAC Commercial, based in Ipswich has been
manufacturing timber, PCV-u and aluminium
doors and windows since 1971. The high-tech
Ipswich facility produces more than 500 units
a week, destined for use in commercial properties,
schools and hospitals across the country and
for households in East Anglia and the South East.
In 2009 SEHBAC adopted the Apprenticeship
scheme and has since recruited six apprentices
working in different areas of the business.”
Here at SEHBAC we take pride in our work, so it’s always nice to hear when we’ve done a job that you’re satisfied with (or hopefully, more than satisfied with!). We’ve received a couple of letters in the past few weeks praising our standards of work with our conservatories: it’s made us very happy.
SEHBAC have launched a new conservatory advert for Spring 2010 promoting their conservatory sale. Made by the people at Stone Productions, it has started airing and will continue thorughout spring.
Chris Mole MP meets apprentice Adam Locke at SEHBAC factory
East Anglian home improvement company, SEHBAC, has been a major employer in Suffolk and Essex since the early 1970s and has recently embarked on a programme of positive youth employment by employing apprentices from the National Apprenticeship Service as part of SEHBAC’s 75-strong workforce.
To recognise SEHBAC ‘s contribution to the region, local MP Chris Mole visited SEHBAC’s show centre at Olympus Close, Ipswich on 19th February to meet two young apprentices where he called on more Suffolk businesses to use the apprenticeship scheme.
